Wedding Coordinators

Having a wedding coordinator or day-of coordinator can make a world of difference for a wedding! Coordinators are pros at taking the stress out of managing such a busy and important day. We love coordinators because they ensure events start on time and don’t run too long, causing delays later in the day (if there is no coordinator, this responsibility often falls onto your photographer!) They also help organize and prepare your vendors by ensuring the photographer and cinematographer are notified and ready for the next event, which in turn gives you better photos and video.

    Reverend Tan has been providing wedding services for over 20 years in the state of California. The team of professional officiants, founded by husband and wife duo Rick and Jennifer Tan, enjoys performing a wide range of custom ceremonies, including spiritual, religious, non-regilious, inter-faith, and thematic. They are available for a variety of other celebrations such as vow renewals, memorials, and baby blessings. Reverend Tan’s live harp, flute, piano, guitar, violin, and viola afford couples with a truly memorable celebration.

DJs and MCs

An experienced DJ is more than the music they play, they are the key to a wonderful ceremony and reception. We can’t stress how important your DJ or band is—not only for you and your guests but also to your wedding film! Our best audio is captured via the DJ’s soundboard. If a DJ or band is inexperienced with audio technology, or doesn’t have top of the line equipment, this can lead to startling mic interference or audio cutting out during your ceremony or toast speeches. Sadly this happens more often than most people imagine! Audio difficulties can mean guest don’t hear all of your vows, interference can cause guests to cut their toast short and sometimes these issues can bleed onto your video’s sound too. We can’t tell you enough how important it is to have a DJ who not only beat matches the best tunes, but also has the tech know-how to setup and troubleshoot effectively.

    Tessa graduated from Federico Beauty Institute in 2006. She is the Creative Lead of Strands Salon and Spa and trained as a Certified Color Educator with Aveda. She has advanced education with Aveda and other product lines in cutting, coloring and updos. She is passionate about updos, redheads, short edgy cuts and men’s cuts. She was a model giving her additional insight with runway styling and make up. She loves creating hair art and the human connections with her guests.
